This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.
Pay Details: $24.50/hr including shift differential
Shift Details: Full-Time | Night Shift | Sunday from 5:00 pm until completion; Monday - Thursday from 6:00 pm until completion.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for receiving, picking and staging customer orders, returns, shipping, and inventory organization, management, and control
- Verifies merchandise received against shipment records; inspects and reports discrepancies or defects
- Stocks shelves and ensures materials are placed in designated areas
- May use a radio-frequency (RF) device for picking, packing, or inventory tasks
- Assembles customer orders by pulling items from shelves and placing them in totes for packing and shipping
- Enters orders, returns, and related data into the computer system
- Inspects returned items and returns merchandise to proper shelf locations
- Completes daily inventory counts accurately and investigates discrepancies
- Assists with inventory procedures as needed
- May perform controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment, and order fulfillment in a cage/vault or refrigerated environment
- May operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other motorized equipment to move inventory
- May assist in training new associates
- Performs other related duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education; one (1) plus years of work experience.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read and understand English to compare product descriptions, names, and shelf labels
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build cooperative working relationships
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of DC workflow and ability to work with minimal guidance
- Maintains a clean work area to keep merchandise clean and prevent work-related injuries
- Uses good judgment to follow detailed instructions
- Basic computer knowledge preferred
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in physical inventory when needed
- Team-oriented with effective communication and problem-solving skills
- May require certification to operate power equipment at high levels (20’–40’) such as reach trucks, picker machines, and forklifts, while complying with safety and OSHA standards
- May require hazmat training certification
- Maintains appropriate attendance standards
- Ability to train and assist associates as needed

Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
